This group will study Paul's letter to the Romans, one of the most influential pieces of writing in history. We'll go in-depth, chapter-by-chapter, and discuss the theology, personal revelations, and practical applications of Paul's teaching.
The book Bread & Wine is a celebration of food shared, reminding us of the joy found in a life around the table. ItÃ?s about the ways God teaches and nourishes people as they nourish the people around them. ItÃ?s about hunger, both physical and otherwise, and the connections between the two.
We will gather each week at my house to enjoy the recipes (yes, I cook!) of the book Bread & Wine, and discuss life around the table together as the women of Union Square.
Oftentimes, we don't see our creative passions and outlets as a form of ministry, but this couldn't be further from the truth. Our Heavenly Father is the ultimate creator and He created us to use our unique gifts to glorify his Kingdom. If you're not sure how you as a creative are called to use your gifts, this group is for you! We'll be reading through "Unlocking the Heart of the Artist" by Matt Tommey and each week we'll encourage each other to step into our God dreams. Whether you're a writer, painter, photographer, makeup artist or something else entirely, this group is for you!
We will read John Bevere's "Driven by Eternity" and discover how life is more than just a sum of our days. We will learn how to align with our higher calling and live daily with an eternal mindset!
Firestarters is a course designed to assist you in becoming a modern-day revivalist; to become a world-changer and history-maker in whatever sphere of influence God has placed you, whether in the marketplace, school, neighborhood, community, or home.
This series will equip, empower, and activate you in a Kingdom revival lifestyle so that you learn to live naturally supernatural.
Have you considered leading a community group, but need more confidence? This group will train you to effectively lead through hands-on training, Q&A, and participating in a thriving group. Open to all Liberty communities.
Ladies! Let's talk about how to live a radical, abundant, and healthy life in a world that has so many opinions on who we are. We'll talk about the issues that matter to us, dive into scripture, and lean on the leaders of our day.
Join us Wednesday mornings as we grab coffee/tea and dive into the book of James! James writes practically about how to pray, how to follow God through seasons of trial, and how to speak in ways that honor others. We'll use the She Reads Truth study guide as a supplement.
I've recently been challenged by theologian A.W. Tozer's statement, "The simplicity which is in Christ is rarely found among us." In this group we'll simply study what Jesus said, and discuss how best walk out really following Him today.
Life is better with friends (and dessert!). Join us Tuesday nights as we hang out, eat yummy treats, and share life with each other. Enjoy adventures out in the city for dessert as well as casual hang-outs in my Brooklyn apartment.
Connect with the men of Liberty Union Square over breakfast. Forge solid relationships as we walk out our faith in New York City as sons, brothers, husbands, and fathers. This group is open year-round to all men.
We will be meeting to develop community and camaraderie as veterans who want to grow a deeper understanding of the cross section between our identities as a veteran and that of a child of God . Our goals are to provide a safe space where we can discuss our past experiences and what they mean for our lives now in addition to exploring how we can support other veterans in and around New York City. Due to the sensitive nature of our conversations, this group will be open to military veterans only.
