ENCOUNTER NIGHT

Sunday, June 4th | 6:00PM
Union Square Ballroom

Encounter Nights are nights will be opportunities to encounter God’s power, presence, and freedom, as we worship together.

The past few months we have been gathering on the first Wednesday of the month, but for this month we will be gathering together on the first Sunday night, at our Union Square location, the Broad Street Ballroom.

We are believing for healing, breakthrough miracles, and for every person to hear from God in a real and personal way. We’re so excited to see you there!

WATER BAPTISMS

Sunday, June 4th | 1:30pm
Broad Street Ballroom
41 Broad St.

Our four New York communities are coming together to celebrate those who have recently made a decision to follow Jesus. If you have recently made a decision for Christ, as an outward demonstration of this inward decision, and as a next step of faith, we invite you to join us for baptisms on June 4th, 2017 at 1:30pm.

Our community pastors from Brooklyn, Downtown, Union Square and Upper Westside will be available to baptize you, as you take this next step. Please come prepared with a towel, as well as a change of clothes, that you would like to be baptized in. A t-shirt and pants or shorts work great! A pair of flip flops or sandals to wear around the pool wouldn’t hurt either. Our elders will be available to pray with you after baptisms, and we would love to have your family and friends come and cheer you on in this decision to follow Christ.

We’ll have some small refreshments available, and we would like to give you a certificate of baptism as well. Thank you for your bold faith and courage – we look forward to celebrating you!

13th DOCUMENTARY SCREENING

In partnership with Liberty City, our sister organization, and non-profit that focuses on anti-human trafficking, mass incarceration, youth and education, we are hosting a screening of the documentary, 13th, by Ava DuVernay. This thought-provoking film features scholars, activists and politicians who discuss and examine the criminalization of African Americans, and the U.S. prion boom. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion of those who are directly affected by mass incarceration, and those who are advocating and working for change at an individual, community and policy level.

This event is free, and the purchase of food and drinks is optional for every attendee, at the Alamo Drafthouse in Downtown Brooklyn. This location is easily accessible, with access from the 2/3, 4/5, F and G trains.

Join us for church in the morning, and come out for the screening at 2pm. You’ll even have time to make it to our 6pm service, after the screening. You will be challenged, informed, and encouraged to take action in your sphere of influence.
