Tuesday 7pmMidtownProphetic ArtThis summer, get ready to collaborate with the Holy Spirit to create prophetic art. That’s right. If you have a desire to be released in the prophetic ministry through your art whether you like to doodle, paint, sketch, draw, or use mixed media, then this community group is for you. We’ll be reading “Born to Create: Stepping Into Your Supernatural Destiny” by Theresa Dedmon from Bethel. On days we meet, we’ll have a short book discussion, then listen to worship music as we soak in God’s presence, and spend the rest of our time creating art and discussing the process and/or prophetic word. Open to all who have a desire to engage in prophetic creativity. Since this is a hands-on practical application group, please bring your own materials (ie. paint, colored ink or pencils, crayons, paper preference, etc.). If you plan to paint, be sure to bring drop cloths and think about drying time needed as well as how to transport your piece home.Enid and Vlada BozicTuesday 7pmMidtown | Join this groupThe Alpha Course

Through prayer and discussion we will seek to identify the “boats” in our lives, those areas where God is calling us to greater faith and the fears and strongholds that may be holding us back. This group is for anyone looking to overcome fear, grow their trust and experience the incredible God-given potential that awaits us all outside of our comfort zones. Tuesdays 7pmBrooklynSoulprintIn this community group, we will be reading Mark Batterson’s Soulprint: Discovering Your Divine Destiny. Batterson writes, “The fact that there has never been and never will be anyone like you simply means that no one can worship God like you or for you. This book about uncovering who you really are, breaking agreement with lies spoken over you, and parting ways with the superficial you. It’s about uncovering your God-breathed identity so you can become who God has created you to be, to have the most impact you can have in your one lifetime, to spread His glory as far as you are meant to.”Emily and Heath KirkendollTuesdays 7pmBrooklyn | Join this groupLiving NY Together
Mondays 8pmGreenwich/USQLiving NY TogetherIt’s no secret that married life can be tough at times. Add living in New York to the equation and well…it can push you to the brink if you’re not careful. We believe the words from the scripture “Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm” are not only good to live by but ESSENTIAL for married couples in particular. The group mission this summer is to connect married couples together and create strong friendships among us. It primarily will be a social group this semester with entire group outings, date nights with specific couples, separate men and women outings, team/marriage building games, and some devotion sessions. If you and your spouse are looking to create and build friendships with other couples who desire to have a marriage that will last in a setting that is very casual, this is the group for you.Brian and Tara BuonassissiMondays 8pmGreenwich/USQ | Join this groupWriter’s Workshop
Tuesdays 7:30pmUSQ/Bread and ButterWriter’s Workshop” One of the biggest complaints of writers is not having time to use the gift God has given them. Our Community Group will not only give you time to write, but it will provide inspiration from authors, books on writing, and from the Liberty Communications Team. We will be working alongside them with the opportunity to contribute pieces to the team. This group is for anyone who feels the call to communicate through the written word. Whether you are already a published author or you haven’t picked up a pen in years, if you want to write, this group is for you.Jeremy KerrTuesdays 7:30pmUSQ/Bread and Butter | Join this groupGod loves Ugly,
Love Makes BeautifulWednesdays 7pm • Midtown WestGod loves Ugly, Love Makes BeautifulThis Community Group will be reading through Christa Black’s book God Loves Ugly: & Love Makes Beautiful to explore the ways in which we have integrated the lies of the enemy into our lives and, as a result, developed distorted perceptions of ourselves. This group would be good for women who are looking to gain a deeper understanding of the Father’s heart for them, start learning how to see themselves as He does, and develop substantial friendships in an environment where it’s safe to be vulnerable with one another.Anastasia BrathwaiteWednesdays 7pmMidtown West | Join this groupBreakfast with Bob and Mavis

Every week, dinner will be provided and we will spend time together eating, and then discussing a section of Robert Morris’s book, The Blessed Life. This group is for anyone who wants to develop a heart of gratitude and generosity, gain freedom over your finances, or understand what it means to live a blessed life or be a blessing to others.David MeleMondays 7:30pmWest Village | Join this groupBrooklyn BBQ
Mondays 7pmBrooklynBrooklyn BBQOur community group will be spending every Monday night this summer picnicking & playing sports together on the piers at Brooklyn Bridge Park. A typical night might look like grilling out on the BBQ’s followed by a game of sand volleyball, or a picnic on the lawn & Ultimate Frisbee… we’ll change it up every week! It’ll be a great way to build relationship with your church family at Liberty, and it’ll also create a perfect “neutral” environment to bring friends who may not feel ready for church on Sundays just yet. Make every weekend a long weekend this summer, and join us on Monday nights for a picnic on the pier!Chad and Emily RodriguezMondays 7pmBrooklyn | Join this groupCentral Park
Tuesdays 7pmCentral ParkCentral Park“Our community group is all about family. Greg and I love nothing more than to share a meal and connect with family. If you are part of Liberty Church, we consider you part of our extended family. We will be meeting in Central Park for a picnic and great conversation. Bring food (or buy from the stores nearby), and yourselves of course! Our desire is to re-create, in a park setting, the family dinner table where everyone brings the events of the week, and talks over issues and ideas. Something seems to happen over a table of food! We look forward to welcoming you to our version of the family dinner table!”Jenny and Greg AndrewTuesdays 7pmCentral Park | Join this groupFun and Games
Wednesdays 7:30pmVariousFun and GamesThis group is open to anyone wanting to experience fun in the city this summer. We will meet for a different activity each week at various locations throughout Manhattan. Picnics, scavenger hunts, sports, and froyo are all fair game. Central Park, Bryant Park, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Highline will all be conquered. If you are looking for a place to get to know people, hang out, and enjoy the summer outdoors then this group is the place to be.Brianne and Spencer BrownWednesdays 7:30pmVarious | Join this groupCupcakes Anonymous
Tuesdays 7:30pmVariousCupcakes AnonymousOur Community Group will be a time to hang out, talk about God and eat delicious, sugary baked goods. During the summer, we will be reading the devotional “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young. Each Tuesday we will meet at a different cupcake bakery in Manhattan to taste-test the cupcakes while reflecting on God’s words. We will discuss how God impacted us through the devotional and His word, as well as how God is working in our lives. The early disciples continually met together “devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching” while “breaking bread” (Acts 2:42). We still believe in coming together to discuss the things of God — our bread is just a bit sweeter.Teresa Dombach and Vanessa CastilloTuesdays 7:30pmVarious | Join this groupHeavy Rain
Tuesdays 7pmTribecaHeavy RainOn Tuesday nights we will get together to discuss Kris Vallaton’s book – Heavy Rain. This study will look at the Lord’s Prayer as the revolutionary prayer Jesus intended it to be. It will challenge you to think and understand the dynamics in play for this generation of believers. Let’s learn how we can transform the world around us.Laleh Harper and Illiana PalaciosTuesdays 7pmTribeca | Join this group
