Last Sunday during the lower Manhattan service, nine families lifted up a total of 12 kids, ranging in age from birth to 10 years, at our children’s dedication ceremony. The event was a testament to having a God-centered vision for children and an answer to prayer as we become a family-oriented, generational community that continues to steadily grow since our inception less than two years ago. The dedication was a public declaration by the parents who made a promise to God to do everything within their power to raise their children in a godly way, prayerfully until each child can make a decision on his or her own to follow Christ. Lead Pastors Paul and Andi Andrew, accompanied by the entire congregation, prayed over the families for continued blessings. All of the kids were given Bibles and certificates, and after the service, the families celebrated with cupcakes. (Blog contributed by Ivette Delgado)
