If Liberty Church had an “uncle” who raised a storm every time he came to visit, his name would be Mike Murphy. We’re so excited to hear him speak at our services on March 8th.
Pastor Mike Murphy has a long history with Liberty Church, stretching back even before Liberty Church was Liberty Church. He is a long-time mentor to Lead Pastors Paul and Andi Andrew and supported them in following their dream to New York. His influence is also felt by the encouragement and coaching he has poured into our pastors and leaders. This is his third time speaking to our communities, and each visit is memorable and pivotal.
In addition to decades of pastoring and missions work, he is the founder of Leaderscape, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting leaders of movements, companies, and churches in both the developing and developed worlds. He describes the mission of Leaderscape as “helping leaders negotiate the various terrains and seasons of their lives.”
“We pastored for thirty years…and we absolutely loved being senior pastors,” he said, but they are delighted to be pursuing their passion of “getting alongside young leaders.”
Pastor Mike will be speaking at all three communities—Brooklyn, Soho, and Union Square.
