Can you test? I mean really test? Do you like finding the mistakes and making them right?

The adMarketplace system is complex with a large number of moving parts, goes through rapid changes and huge transaction volume, which makes QA testing challenging. The QA Engineer needs to be a leader, a coordinator and a planner, able to preemptively identify problems and drive them to the team for addressing. The QA Engineer also needs to work closely with business and technical divisions to build proper specifications and expectations. The QA Engineer uses a combination of manual UI testing, data analytics, programming and testing automation techniques to check all aspects of the systems, from visual to interactive, from data accuracy to meeting spec.

What You’d Do:

• Define and work with the rest of the team to enforce best practices
• Software test implementation/execution, issue reporting and tracking
• Coding test software in Java, Python, Shell scripting
• Plan and implement test plans, cases, and matrices, and use technical knowledge to design and develop tools for test execution
• Work with development to discover and diagnose bugs, and ensure that bugs, enhancements, and change requests follow the established life cycle
• Develop, maintain and improve automated tests
• Ensure that software meets performance and quality requirements

What We’d Like:

• 4+ years experience in software development, test or support of large, networked software systems
• Experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer on an agile software development team
• Exceptional attention to detail and technical skills
• Able to train and coach others and to create highly-detailed and comprehensive written documentation.
• Able to troubleshoot and analyze software issues and identify root causes
• Able to manage multiple deadline-driven tasks
• Able to use team collaboration software (issue tracking, project management, document sharing, etc.)
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, leadership, and - negotiating skills
• Assertive and resilient with an honest, ego-less approach
• Bachelors degree, preferably in a technical discipline, or equivalent work experience

Would Be Awesome:

• Knowledge of pay-per-click advertising and search engine marketing
• Prior business analysis and/or systems operation experience
