Tutoring for English (Literacy) & Math - Special & General Ed

If you or someone you know has a child between the ages of 5 and 18 who needs tutoring, I am available and would love to help in the continual personal and academic growth of your child. I’ve been teaching within NYC for 2 years and am certified to teach all subjects for students with special needs from grades 5-9. I especially enjoy English, math, and social studies. I have an additional 3 years experience with the elementary and high school grades as well as students in the general education classroom. I’ve also worked with students with varying ranges of abilities (i.e. autism, down syndrome, dyslexia, speech/language impairment, etc).

My personal belief is to help foster students’ natural curiosity to become independent, yet collaborative thinkers, thus empowering them to be responsible stewards of the world with which they live. Please contact me if you feel that I could be of any help.
