LEADING IN LIFE
Connect Group Leaders: Andi Andrew
Carroll Gardens | Tuesdays | 7:30pm
Every woman is a leader and called to lead in some way shape or form. We don’t all lead in the same way, but are called to lead Godly lives as women of God and pass it onto those who are following us as it states in Titus 2. Just look around… there are always younger women who are following you, so YOU have something to give. We will discuss and pray over each other in regards to a wide range of topics that all of us deal with while trying to lead in our sphere of influence as well as in the Church. Topics like: Balance, Seasons, Are we really all called to lead???, Offense, Not leaving your post in life, and more. We will also begin to shape the Women’s Movement that God is calling us to build together as Liberty Church. Any woman of any age, at any stage of life is welcome. My goal is to build into you, encourage, inspire and challenge you to step up to new levels in your life with God and where you are called to lead!

HOW TO HEAR FROM GOD
Connect Group Leaders: Shilvy Yee
Midtown West | Tuesdays | 7:30 PM
Did you know that you can not only talk to God, but that you can personally hear from Him as well? How does God speak to us? Using Joyce Meyer’s practical, straightforward book How to Hear from God, this Connect Group will cover the many different ways God communicates with us, including the Word, the inner witness, peace, supernatural revelation, and more. We’ll also discuss related topics, such as how to create an atmosphere to hear from God, possible hindrances to hearing from God, and developing a sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s leading. Come join this group if you’re seeking friendships and growth in a fun, engaging environment!

LIVING FOR CHRIST | THE GOOD, THE BAD & THE UGLY
Connect Group Leaders: Vladimir & Enid Bozic
Midtown East/Varies | Thursdays | 7pm
Sometimes living for Christ is not easy, especially as a New Yorker where we can be inundated with worldly things and a value system that is not biblically-based. In this group, we’ll cover the good, the bad and the ugly of Christian living and what it means to truly follow Christ as a “doer” using James as our study. We’ll spend four weeks covering the five chapters of James and the alternative four weeks doing various summer activities such as concert in the park, kayaking on the Hudson, beach day at Robert Moses, Chelsea Market and Highline or Chelsea Piers, etc. If you’re looking to apply the practical principles of Christian living found in James while having fun this summer, then you’ll love our group.

WALKING IN AUTHENTICITY
Connect Group Leader: Teresa Dombach
Midtown | Tuesdays | 6:30 pm
What does it mean to live as an authentic, genuine follower of Christ today? What does having faith in times of joy, happiness, doubt, sorrow, fear and brokenness look like? Or even at work, home, or school? Anyone is welcome and we aim to look at the unique, imperfect — yet sincerely seeking — way that people in the Bible followed God, in the hopes that we can sincerely and genuinely follow Jesus while being our authentic real selves. We will be looking at how ordinary people in ordinary life dealt with the reality of God in their midst. This Connect Group would be great for anyone seeking authenticity and exploring the Bible.
