MORE ABOUT GIVING TO LIBERTY CHURCH
Tithes and offerings most often are undesignated, meaning that we use the funds for the normal operation of our church. However, you may want to give an offering toward a specific purpose. Here are the options that we provide online:
- Tithes & Offerings for Brooklyn, Downtown, and Union Square: These gifts cover the daily operations of the church in each of these communities.
- Tithes & Offerings – Liberty Live: These gifts support the live streaming of our services and expansion of our LibertyLive capabilities.
- Offering – Liberty City, Inc.: Liberty City, Inc. is the charity arm of Liberty Church that meets needs in our local communities.
- Offering – Missionary Support (Amoss / Swaziland): Gethin and Bex Amoss are our first missionaries from Liberty, serving in Swaziland.
- Offering – Seed Fund: Seed Fund is an organization that funds missions and church planting. Seed Fund has been instrumental in planting the Liberty Church communities in Brooklyn and Zimbabwe.
- Offering – Visionaries: Visionaries is the business community of Liberty Church who help each other realize their dreams and career goals and who commit to furthering the vision of the church.
Occasionally other designations may be available including registrations for upcoming conferences or meetings.
Credit Card and Banking Fees
While we do accept electronic gifts by credit card, our preferred method of electronic giving is by electronic fund transfer (e-check from your bank account) for two reasons:
- Although many people pay off their credit cards entirely every month, others don’t. We don’t want to encourage anyone to accumulate debt in order to tithe to our church.
- Gifts by EFT have much lower fees. Up to 3% of your credit card gift goes to the card company per transaction (exact percentage is dependent on the card type); gifts by EFT incur a flat charge of $0.50 per transaction.
Please note that we are able to receive online bank transfers up to $50,000 per transaction and up to $100,000 per day. If you would like to give a larger donation, please consider breaking them into smaller payments or contact [email protected] for details on how to wire your donation directly to us.
Privacy Policies
Your information is held securely by the Fellowship One system. This information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions.
You can schedule new contributions at any time and can modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled. Once the contribution has been processed, however, it cannot be cancelled.
