The Seed Offering is Liberty Church’s annual giving initiative that focuses on church planting and global missions initiatives. Below are videos from Lead Pastors Paul and Andi Andrew that communicate the heart and vision of this year’s initiatives. We are a church planting church, and that mandate flows from our vision to know Christ and make him known. Every December we generously give toward this mission through the annual Seed Offering, focusing on church planting and our global missions initiatives through Liberty Foundation. Through planting local churches globally, Liberty Foundation resources these churches to be the hands and feet of Jesus to their city. There is no organization on earth like the local church when it comes to helping the hurting.
In the book of Nehemiah, when Israel was in exile and their capital was in ruins, Nehemiah was moved to build in faith, and he said to the people, “Come and let us build the wall of Jerusalem…’ So they said, ‘Let us rise up and build.’ Then they set their hands to this good work.”- Nehemiah 2:17-18 NKJV
So we are rising up to build four new Liberty Church communities in 2017 and beyond, and setting our hands to serving those in need in cities around the world. From Swaziland to San Francisco, from Bangalore to Bay Ridge and beyond – we desire to see people follow Jesus, thrive in community and make a difference. Your generosity will impact thousands of lives.

Liberty Church Brooklyn is excited to plant our second location, in beautiful Bay Ridge, located in the southeast corner of Brooklyn. Many of our families, including our church planters and Brooklyn Elders, Heath and Emily Kirkendoll, currently live in, work in and serve this diverse neighborhood. We believe Liberty Church Bay Ridge will be a place with radical inclusion that turns strangers into family, gathering people across multigenerational and multicultural lines.
San Francisco is known for many things, but it truly is the people that draws our hearts to this city. It has always been part of our vision to influence cities that influence the world, and to reflect the diversity of the cities we are called to. Our desire is to listen, serve and be a part of the story of SF. Our dream is to make Christ known in this great city through serving alongside other churches in the city. We pray Liberty Church San Francisco, led by Chad and Emily Rodgriguez, will be a place where many find home, grace, faith and purpose… together.
St. Petersburg is an innovative city with a population that has grown by 20% in the past three years alone. As the city grows, so does the need for churches, particularly in the already underserved downtown districts where the population is growing the fastest. Despite the beaches and sunshine St. Pete also has one of the highest rates of anti-depressant use in the nation. Our church planters, Bryan and Jen Jennings, have been living in St. Pete and we are committed to serving the people of this beautiful city.
After years of serving in southern Africa, it’s time to build a church. This year we opened the Liberty Community Centre in Manzini, Swaziland, providing tutoring, music classes, care and support to hundreds of young people. It has become a beacon of hope and is already addressing a wide variety of needs for the city. With our missionaries, Gethin & Bex Amoss, alongside our church planters, Lue and Zinty Ncube, we believe now is the time to plant Liberty Church Manzini.
We are entering our second year of work in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, where we continue to partner with Children’s Cup and local churches to establish care points that provide holistic care to children in urban slums. Our hope is to make strategic investments in staffing and smaller capital projects.
In Siem Reap, Cambodia, we are partnering with ICF a vibrant church that is reaching a new generation of Cambodians in a dynamic way. As a church they are feeding the community, raising up local leaders and rebuilding hope in a nation that walked through unimaginable devastation just a generation ago.
In cities across India like Mumbai, Kolkatta, Hyderabad and Bangalore, we are partnering with the Bridge Institute to help train church planters and pastors in some of the largest and fastest growing cities in the world that need local churches to stand in the gap and help address tremendous needs, including an estimated 70 million people living in slums.
In 2016, we launched Liberty Community Centre in the heart of the nation’s largest city, helping to unite key organizations, to fight a wide range of issues including malnutrition, widespread unemployment and the highest rate of HIV in the world. In 2017, the Centre will also see the launch of Liberty Church Manzini.
The Seed Offering will also help establish a new Disaster Relief Fund, to ensure we are able to respond to crises around the world when they call for local churches to come to the assistance of their cities.
Even as we continue to meet immediate needs we are also preparing for the future. Each year we contribute to the Ownership Fund to be ready for the day God opens the door for us to purchase property of our own as a church, leaving a legacy for the generations to come.
