We are located at the Union Square Ballroom- 30 E 16th Street, New York, NY. Below the infamous coffee shop. Services are at 5pm + 7pm every Sunday night.

The Lounge

The Lounge opens at 4:30pm + 6.30pm with light snacks and coffee.

Lead Pastors Paul and Andi Andrew moved from Sydney, Australia, in 2010 to plant Liberty Church in New York City, with a God-inspired dream to establish a Community, a Catalyst, and a Cause, influencing a city that influences the world.

In 2011, they began services in Tribeca and launched a second community in Union Square the same year. Church communities in Brooklyn, Zimbabwe and London have also sprung up because of Liberty Church’s vision to impact ten communities in ten years.

Liberty Church Union Square began September 2011 and has been growing ever since. In 2012, Parker Green moved to New York and began pastoring Union Square with his wife Jessi.

Starting April 6th, Liberty Church Union Square is excited to announce the beginning of 2 services - at 5pm and 7pm.

The Lounge

A friendly lounge with coffee, tea and snacks. This is a great opportunity to meet people at Liberty Church. The Lounge opens 30 minutes before service.

A Worship Experience

Our church believes that to Worship is to place worth upon something. We worship through music, prayer and believing for God to move in our city.

Bible based Teaching

We believe The Bible is the living Word of God. The messages are practical, daily life bible-based teaching.

 

Our Team

Paul & Andi Andrew are the lead pastors of Liberty Church and combine a passionate commitment to Christ-centered leadership with a creative approach that provides an authentic New York City worship experience. Parker and Jessi Green are the community pastors of Union Square alongside a world-class team.

When Pastors Paul and Andi Andrew made the decision to move with their kids from Sydney to New York City to plant Liberty Church they only knew two people in the city. That was 2010, and just a few short years later what started as a dream has flourished into a dynamic, growing community that is making a difference in NYC and beyond.

Paul Andrew, Lead Pastor

Paul was born and raised in Sydney, Australia and gave his life to Jesus at age 16. Since then his passion has been the local church. More than two decades of full-time ministry have spanned church, government and community-based organizations. In 2008, Paul launched his own business called The Leadership Coach, and in his spare time he continues to work around the world in the corporate sector as a professional speaker and management consultant. Today as Lead Pastor of Liberty Church with Andi he also serves as a coach for the Association of Related Churches, helping others launch new churches especially in urban centers and the northeast.

Andi Andrew, Lead Pastor

Andi grew up in Spokane, Washington and met Paul in Bible college in Australia. She truly is an outstanding and sought-after preacher and carries the leadership of Liberty Church together with Paul. Andi’s years of ministry have shaped her with a passion to see people experience real freedom and it’s little wonder her leadership and ministry have such a lasting impact. As well as building the church, she’s blessed with four incredible kids…three boys and a little princess. They’re not the normal New York family but they’re convinced normal is over-rated anyway.

Liberty Church is really a team though, not a couple, not superstars – just a team of ordinary people doing extraordinary things as they serve their city.

Parker enjoys long walks on the beach (but not too long). He is prone to eat at any time, and is a long-suffering Washington Huskies fan. Also a great communicator, Parker has a passion for discipleship and generational leadership.
