What happens when more than 100 women gather together for a cause to end the cycle of poverty? An entire class, roughly 27 kids, now get a full year’s scholarship ($150 each) to attend school in Southern Africa through Children’s Cup! And we are not stopping there. Our goal was to send 25 children and now we are believing to send as many as possible.
If you’d like to help support this cause by making a donation in kind, please visit Liberty City and click the “donate” button on the top menu bar. Once there in Paypal, go to the “special instructions to the seller box” and add: “Please allocate to Children’s Cup project.”
All in all, Liberty Sisterhood Girls Night Out was a catalystic evening with tears and laughter as we heard a great message from the women of our church stepping up and encouraging us to uphold the Liberty Sisterhood Declarations.

Nothing can be more spiritually uplifting than spending a day with our Liberty Church family, making new friends, breathing in the fresh, crisp fall air and foraging a local farm full of all kinds of fresh produce and juicy apples.
If that peaks your interest, then RSVP now to join us for a fun day at Terhune Orchards located at 330 Cold Soil Road in Princeton, NJ on Saturday, Oct. 6th. In addition to produce, they have pony rides, wagon rides, Corn Stalk Maze, barnyard animals and live music from noon to 4pm. (Note: activities and apple picking are across the road from each other).
Kids of all ages are welcome! Logistics and carpooling information will be emailed to you as we draw closer to the date. Please RSVP via email at events@libertychurchnyc.com or sign up after services in the guest lounge.

Last Sunday we squeezed in one more baptism before the summer weather slips away. A huge thanks to all the friends and family that came out to support those making this important step in their faith in Jesus Christ.

What follows a personal decision to follow Christ is the decision to become water baptized, a significant next step in one’s spiritual journey. So for those who would like to have that opportunity, we’ll be conducting water baptisms this Sunday from 1:30-3:30pm on the Upper East Side in Manhattan.
Simply put, water baptism is a key act of obedience, an outward display of one’s inward decision to follow Christ and trust him with one’s eternity. It’s a step of acknowledgement that is representative of the fact that Jesus died on the cross, was buried and walked out of the grave, alive, so each of us can have eternal life.
You will be his witness to all men of what you have seen and heard. And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name. ~Acts 22:15-16
