Ministry Training Program Launched In Zimbabwe

No Comments 09 April 2025

Great news from our Liberty Church community in Sauerstown, Zimbabwe - they’ve launched a brand new ministry training program with seven emerging leaders in the first year’s intake.

Using some of the funds raised through last year’s Seed Offering we were able to help the team in Zimbabwe launch this much-needed program last month. Each of the interns is experiencing a mixture of structured leadership & spiritual development in group classes as well as practical ministry training through serving in the Sauerstown community.

We also want to thank John & Lisa Bevere and Messenger International for their incredible donation of training curriculums that the students will benefit from, as well as dozens of other pastors in the Celebration Church Network right across Zimbabwe. Partners like these and Children’s Cup are making all of this possible.

A huge welcome to the team to Victor, Mike, Andrew, Marian, Pride, Attitude and Sibonginkhosi! And we’re praying this year will be a phenomenal season of personal growth and fruitfulness.

2013 was a year of strengthened partnership with Children’s Cup and Celebration Church. It was also the year Liberty Church Zimbabwe took root in Sauerstown, Bulawayo. We look forward to what’s in store for 2014 as we prepare for our fourth missions trip back to Africa. We’d love for you to join our Spring Missions Trip that will take place from April 21st - May 1st.

Last trip our team co-hosted a Family Fun Day, a community outreach where over 750 people (mostly children) attended. That team included our youngest volunteer to date - six year old Jesse! During our stay, we continued partnering with the local church in building a community center and other facilities to serve their city; helped with school feeding programs and witnessed some amazing healing miracles among the people of Zimbabwe.

An incredible result for our Seed Offering!

No Comments 06 January 2025

Our Lead Pastor, Paul Andrew, announced yesterday in our weekend services a historic result for this year’s Seed Offering.

Throughout the month of December, in addition to regular tithes for the ongoing operations of Liberty Church, our church and partners gave a combined…

$250,109.12

That represents an increase over $131,893.56 or 116% growth on last year’s result (and that was an amazing offering!). We were so thrilled to achieve what seemed like an impossible faith goal of $250,000.

You can read more about all the missions and church planting initiative we’ll be supporting with the Seed Offering here.

A huge THANK YOU to all the generous people who sowed seed into this harvest, and to the churches and ministries that joined us in sowing into the nations.
