After initially selling out, we were able to secure a limited number of additional spaces with the venue. We continue to work with the venue to try to gain even more spaces, but it is possible that we will sell out of these newly available slots before we can further expand the number. Something significant happens when you set aside time to seek God, invest in relationships with like-minded people, and be equipped for greater impact in your profession. That’s why Visionaries exists: to equip, encourage, and enable those who want to make a difference, not just a living.
The theme for this year’s event is Greater Things: Equipping You with Clarity, Courage, and Capacity to Live Out Your Calling in 2015. Our two days together will include a blend of speakers, worship, Q&A sessions, and breakouts, plus a chance to build relationships with other business leaders who call Liberty Church home.
We are pleased to announce that our keynote speaker will be author, speaker, and pastor, Kris Vallotton. Kris is not only a gifted teacher, but for many years he ran his own business before joining the ministry full-time. He is the senior associate leader of Bethel Church in Redding, CA, and has written seven books including the best-selling Supernatural Ways of Royalty. We also can announce that Scott Harrison, founder and president of charity: water will also be speaking at the retreat, and discuss how he took his non-profit organization from idea to success. Paul Andrew, lead pastor of Liberty Church and leadership training expert, along with additional speakers to be announced shortly will bring their business acumen seasoned with their relationship with God.
The breakout sessions at the retreat will give you an opportunity to clarify your calling, develop courage to step into the next stage, and join with others in prayer for your success. God desires to meet you in your professional sphere of influence, to help you succeed, and to change your world. Between the renowned speakers and the time for application, we hope you will return from the retreat with clearer direction and conviction to pursue your calling.
WHERE
We’re staying at the beautiful Tarrytown House Estate in Tarrytown, NY, just a 45-minute train ride on Metro-North out of Grand Central Station. Once at the Tarrytown train station, a short (and inexpensive) taxi ride will get you to the venue in a matter of minutes.
REGISTRATION
Your registration includes two full days of retreat speakers and breakouts, meals and refreshments, additional activities, and one night at the hotel. The event will start at 9:00 am on Friday, November 14th, and conclude at 5:00 pm Saturday, November 15th. If you wish to arrive on Thursday night, you can contact the hotel and make reference to our group (“Liberty Church - Visionaries”) to book this extra night at a special rate. Childcare cannot be provided for this particular event.
