UPDATE - due to hurricane Irene, we were forced to postpone the SeedOffering to Sun Sept 4th.
On the first Sunday of September we’re receiving a special, one-time Seed Offering in our Tribeca Community for the second community we are about to pioneer.
As a church we’ve been studying 2Cor9:6-11, which describes our financial giving as the sowing of seed that comes with a promise of increase and harvest. (You can download the messages here)
This new community will hopefully launch in the Union Square community this Fall, and begin with a Sunday night service.
We believe that it’s time to sow and stretch again… as we become one church, in two communities.
Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 2Cor9:10
If you’re part of our Liberty Church family could I ask you to pray about what seed you could sow into what God is about to do, and the lives that will be impacted in Union Square? We want to see this new community launched in strength with all the resources it needs to stand on its own two feet as soon as possible.
It’s going to be a really special service on Sun Sept 4th as we receive the Seed Offering together, and we’d love you to be there.
